It all started back in 1993 when Mark and Narelle Tognini decided to swap their careers in nursing and building for a new adventure — opening a tiny little deli in Milton Village. What began as Tognini’s Cafe Deli quickly grew into a local favourite, known for good food, great coffee, and a whole lot of heart.

Over the years, that small deli evolved into something much bigger — ready meals, catering, and a community of fellow food lovers who’ve been part of the journey ever since.

Fast forward more than 30 years, and a new chapter has begun.

In 2025, Tognini’s Cafe Deli was transformed into Dopo Eatery — a fresh new name with a renewed energy and the same passion for great food.

‘Dopo’ means after in Italian — and that’s exactly what we’re about.

Dopo is the place to slow down, share good food, and enjoy the little moments that come after: after work, after school, after that morning rush.

You’ll still find the same great coffee, fresh food, and warm hospitality you’ve always loved from Mark and Narelle — just with a fresh new vibe, ready for what comes next.
